Our Positions

Warehouse and Delivery Technician

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in the receiving, storage, delivery and installation of specialized equipment
  • Have an energetic, enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Be capable of carefully and safely handling large pieces of equipment
  • Be able to work independently or as part of a small team
  • Be a natural problem solver
  • Be a strong communicator, verbal and written
  • Have a valid drivers license
  • Be able to pass reliability screening for the purposes of bonding
  • Be able to occasionally work out of town, at times for extended periods, to complete installations. Our client takes on projects throughout the Atlantic provinces.

In addition to the requirements above, the following attributes would be considered an asset to the candidate:

  • Experience in the bakery, food and beverage or hospitality industries
  • Experience in a related specialty trade
  • Some computer skills
  • Telephone and customer service experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00-$18.00 per hour


Retail Sales Senior Associate

The ideal candidate:

  • Serves customers by helping them select products.
  • Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
  • Greets and receives customers in person and on the phone in a welcoming manner.
  • Responds to customers’ questions.
  • Directs customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
  • Provides outstanding customer service.
  • Documents sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
  • Manages financial transactions.
  • Processes payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
  • Alerts management of potential security issues.
  • Assists with inventory, including receiving, pricing and stocking merchandise.
  • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.

The Purchaser's duties will include conducting market research, building a network of reliable vendors and service providers, negotiating the best contracts, inspecting deliveries, and working alongside members of our sales and contracting divisions to ensure excellence in customer service delivery. You should have stellar communication skills and be able to collaborate with a close-knot team. To be successful as a Purchaser, you should be able to understand emerging industry trends and have a good ability to read people. Oustanding Purchasers are able to juggle multiple responsibilities at once and make important decisions in fast-paced environments.

Purchaser Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.
  • Meeting with vendors and clients to negotiate the best contracts.
  • Liaising with delivery and warehouse teams to ensure goods are received on time.
  • Monitoring inventory and writing orders to refill stock.
  • Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely.
  • Updating all records of purchased products.
  • Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses.
  • Attending and contributing to meetings with staff and other stakeholders.
Purchaser Requirements:
  • Post-secondary training in Business Administration or similar.
  • Retail experience or similar.
  • Practical experience with off the shelf accounting suites and office software.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Sound research and networking skills.
  • Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Compensation package is competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
